## good books

I would reccommend starting with secondary
lit when getting into ancient astrology.

### Demetra George "Ancient Astrology: in theory & practice" volume 1 & 2
these titles offer a substatial foundation to build upon,
every chapter comes with
practices that cement the techniques
into ones mind quite nicely, as well
as giving one incredible insight to
their own chart.

an excellent introduction to the
field for a serious practitioner.

### Vettius valens Anthologies.
the pdf is available for free, legally!
cuts straight the point. he lays out the
details quite nicely
he was a practicing astrologer himself

### Dorian Gieseler Greenbaum - "the Daimon in hellenistic astrology"
incredible book beyond speaking. go read it.

### Martin Gansten "Primary Directions"
makes primary directions easy!

### firmicus maternus "Mathesis"
this book is an excellent
introduction. an incredible
compendium that covers the basics well.
